Maureen Daly Goggin

is a professor of rhetoric at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, Arizona, USA, where she teaches courses in women and material culture, history and theories of rhetoric, and research methods. She ist author and editor of eight scholarly books, a textbook, a pedagogical book, and numerous essays, her latest book is Women and the Material Culture of Death (Ashgate, 2013), a collection that examines the compelling and often poignant connection between women and the material culture of death by focusing on the objects maek, the images they keep, the practices they use or are responsible for, and the places they inhabit and construct through ritual and custom. Receipt of numerous awards for teaching and scholarship, Professor Maureen Daily Goggin was the 2015-2016 recipient of a Fulbright Scholar award that brought her to the University of Graz in Austria to teach and do scholarship for summer term 2016.
